01 - Wash and chop the pineapple into small pieces. Remove tough stems from kale leaves and chop coarsely. Peel the banana.
02 - Add the almond milk, kale, banana, pineapple, chia seeds, lemon juice, and honey or maple syrup to a blender jar.
03 - Blend on high speed for 45-60 seconds until completely smooth and no leafy chunks remain.
04 - Add ice cubes and blend on high for another 30 seconds until the smoothie reaches a creamy, chilled consistency.
05 - Taste the smoothie and add more sweetener if desired. Pour into two glasses and serve immediately while cold.
